ASUS ROG Summer 2016 CS:GO Tournament is taking place in Helsinki, Finland on August 5-6 with eight teams and a $25,000 USD prize pot.
ASUS ROG Tournaments returns to Helsinki, Finland with full force this summer as we host our biggest Counter-Strike: Global Offensive tournament since winter 2015. On August 5-6 we will invite eight professional CS:GO teams to Helsinki to compete for a $25,000 USD prize pool. Be ready to witness the biggest live esports audience ever in Finland as we take over the main stage of Assembly Summer, the largest computer festival in Finland with over 4000 visitors. Format
The overall structure of the tournament is traditional with a double elimination group stage followed by single elimination playoffs. Matches in the group stage are played in best-of-one format except for the group decider matches which are best-of-three. In the playoffs however, every match is a best-of-three.
Participation
Teams can enter the tournament only via an invite. If you are interested in participating in ASUS ROG Summer 2016 CS:GO Tournament, please send us an application requesting an invite. Don’t hesitate as the event is in next month already and the invitations will be handed out soon. Note that all participants are required to cover their own travel and accommodation expenses.
Tickets
You can witness the action live on the venue inside the Assembly Summer computer festival. All the matches will be shown on the big screen with an audience stand. The single day entry tickets start from 15 euros. Read more about the tickets and prices at assembly.org.
