ASUS ROG Tournaments organizes an Overwatch tournament with eight teams and a $9,500 USD prize pool taking place at ASSEMBLY Summer in Helsinki August 3-4.

This Summer ASUS ROG Tournaments continue at the Finnish computer festival ASSEMBLY, as we host our first Overwatch tournament on August 3-4. We will invite eight Overwatch teams to Helsinki to compete for a $9,500 USD prize pool. Naturally, a free HD stream is provided with professional English and Finnish commentary. The on-site audience can enjoy the action live in the ASUS ROG arena.

ASUS ROG is thrilled to be a part of the one of the hottest eSports title, Overwatch. Expect no less than stellar performances from our players, production crew and admins as we bring you the best tournament experience possible.

The overall structure of the tournament is traditional with a double elimination group stage followed by single elimination playoffs. Matches in the group stage are played in the best-of-three format. In the playoffs, every match is a best-of-three except for final is played on best-of-five.

All competitive Assault, Escort, Control and Hybrid maps are allowed. Maps are selected by vetoes before the match.


You can witness the action live on the venue inside the Assembly Summer computer festival. Matches will be shown on the big screen with an audience stand. Entry ticket to Assembly is required, but there is no additional cost for following the tournament. The single day entry tickets start from 15 euros.
